| | > Home > About Us > Overview | | | FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS, OUR COMPANY HAS DELIVERED MEDIA MONITORING, RESEARCH, ANALYSIS, OPTIMIZATION AND INFORMATION SERVICES TO THE ADVERTISING, PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MEDIA SECTORS | The Radio Register was founded in 1986, to provide radio stations with post media analysis of competitor stations in the Melbourne market.
In 1992 the company rebranded as Commercial Monitors as it launched services monitoring additional media, press and magazines.
We were the first media monitoring agency in Australia to deliver content in digital format allowing clients instant access to competitive material and editorial comment.
Our company expanded monitoring to others capital cities in 1995, opening new markets with the delivery to advertising agencies and corporate clients of competitive content and creative reels. Further expansion in the year 2000 with a fully digital TV capture network, automated recognition of broadcast content to track airplays, the addition of online banners and subscription TV gives us the biggest media source coverage in Australia.
Our information management system manages more than 30,000 brands and in excess of 6000 individual contacts from the advertising, marketing and media industry - all integrated with hundreds of thousand of advertisements from Australia. And worldwide our reach is across 400,000 brands and almost 10 million ads from more than 50 countries.
Our current and historical archive of advertising and news content is published in a variety of online and hardcopy formats, through direct B2B sales and channel partners who are leading organisations in their industry.
Our three services groupings are structured to reflect the three core audiences we service - advertising, public relations and media.
Today, Commercial Monitors employs over 20 staff Australia wide in several locations with our head office in Melbourne.
